Rabbit culled for sneezing, photos of organs for opinions please.

yes. I'd call that a mild case. Organs are if you are cooking it, it's totally fine to eat. No feeding raw to cats. Dogs and chickens are fine.

Rabbit culled for sneezing, photos of organs for opinions please.

i see light pitting which means (like many rabbits) they are carrying e. cunniculi Some would advise you to do an aggressive treatment. I'm not one of them. I only advise that if you have random fader kits or head tilt/rolling bunnies.

Rabbit culled for sneezing, photos of organs for opinions please.

The lungs look a bit off to me, but otherwise everything looks okay. I'm wondering if I'm seeing some pitting on the kidneys... though the image (on my screen) isn't really clear.

Rex - Bleeding - Hocks or something else??

the blood spillage looks pretty normal to me, nothing that set off alarm bells beyond seeing it first! :)

Rex - Bleeding - Hocks or something else??

I agree it's a lot of blood for sore hocks but my suspicion is this (not having examined her thoroughly myself) is that she ripped a scab on that one back foot and caused some significant bleeding. Now if you have examined her thoroughly and can't find an injury (and in case you don't know...

Feeding Plan for Pregnant Does and Soon to be Kits? (Meat Rabbits)

make sure you add in the micronutrients they need as well eh? Salt and minerals are important!

    What is the better option??

at this age there really isn't much a point. You could simply try giving them hay OR supplementing the weak kit with some goats milk.

Feeding Plan for Pregnant Does and Soon to be Kits? (Meat Rabbits)

Babies will nurse as long as the doe lets them. I've seen 12 week olds still nursing. :) My kits start nibbling on hay and pellets while still in the nest box (under 10 days), they start gathering with mom at the feed bowl just past 14 days old.

Feeding Plan for Pregnant Does and Soon to be Kits? (Meat Rabbits)

are you adding nutrients such as salt and minerals? Kits will eat whatever mom is eating. If mom is used to a well rounded diet she'll pass that along in her milk and fecals. raise them how you intend to feed them. keep those that do well on the diet you intend to provide. You said that...

    Pasterella "snuffles" in rabbits

if you do keep her and breed her, my advice from what I did in the past. Breed her, keep her away from other rabbits if you can. Keep the buck you used separate (or buy/rescue in an inexpensive buck just for the deed and cull him). do what you can to get the kits eating solid food early...

    Pasterella "snuffles" in rabbits

i don't cull on a single sneeze, but if I hear the same animal sneezing then I will immediately grab it up and do a health check. I'll look for weepy eyes, bad teeth, remind self on what I fed, look for snot residue on the front legs, I'll check everything I can. If I find anything that makes...

    Pasterella "snuffles" in rabbits

My viewpoint is this. I only want to breed the best to the best. Compromised health.... is not the best. AND those that get sick are showing a tendency toward problems. ERGO if you get sick, get "allergies", have the odd random snot/sneeze/weepy eye.... I CULL dead. I'm quick to do so. I...
