    Butchering Knives??

I have a couple of chef's choice electric sharpeners. They are kind of expensive but they get knives sharp!

    Not new, but returning!

It's probably not applicable for everyone, but I have been switching over to the clamp on food bowls and that pretty much eliminates feed waste for my rabbits. I use two on my doe cages. https://www.tractorsupply.com/tsc/product/lixit-20-oz-stainless-steel-crock-676

    Protective spray for trays

I've got the tractor supply plastic trays and they seem pretty good. I just blast them with a hose and haven't had to scrape them. I use the TSC pelletized bedding in the trays, which I'm a huge fan of.

    The solution to wasted hay?

I use a hay rack from kwcages. It hasn't eliminated waste, but it's a lot better than laying the hay on the cage floor. I have just accepted that there's going to be waste 😅

    I finally did it - Dispatch/Process

Stationary looking at their food is preferable. I try to come in at an angle to hit their brain and spine at the same time. I can usually get right next to them while they are eating so it's easy to aim.

    I finally did it - Dispatch/Process

I processed 16 today using a .22 high powered pellet rifle. We use hay or lettuce and let them eat. They don't see it coming and it happens quick. It's pretty quiet, neighbors don't notice. I think it's roughly $200 for a pellet rifle that's strong enough, haven't had any failures to dispatch...

Animal Wanted Silver Fox in Wa.

I don't have any does available, but I do have some pedigree Silver Fox bucks if you are still looking.

    Litter size and genetics

I was asking if the does are all related to each other, which it sounds like they probably are. Purebred as in something with a pedigree. Without a pedigree you have no idea what's really mixed in there. The bloodline you have might just produce small litters. I like Alaska Satin's idea of...

    Litter size and genetics

Are the Does related? If they are, I'd lean towards them being the problem. Personally I'd start with Purebred rabbits and go from there.

New to rabbits and rabbit talk for color re

Another thing to consider when breeding, not every rabbit will be friendly. I've had a couple of grow outs that came from friendly parents, and they have friendly litter mates but they have no interest in human interaction and can inflict wounds when they are scared. I wouldn't feel good about...

How do you keep track of kits

Ear tattoos are very common. If you enter an ARBA show, a tattoo is required.

    Champagne d'Argent vs Silver Fox

My Champagne buck must come from small bloodlines. He was the largest in the litter I picked him from and he's 8-9 lbs. His parents were similar in size.
