    Not new, but returning!

Thanks, I already found one. I use a little dump bed trailer I pull with my ATV, it slots into a hole instead of a ball hitch, so the extra hole is great. Thanks for the post :D

I love the hitch on your side by side. Did it come with it, or did you buy it?

Questions for people who use a pellet pistol for dispatch please

I use a .22 pellet rifle that's specifically for hunting and I use a hunting pellet. You have to break barrel in half to cock it. It has a 10 round clip. If you put it right next to the head like described above, it puts the rabbit down pretty much instantly. They drop, stretch out their legs...

New Project: Built Small Rabbit Colony Cage - Inspired by Kummer Homestead on YT

I'm feeling like a grumpy old man right now shouting from a soap box. I'm absolutely not trying to be mean and I should probably not say anything. Temu is evil and uses literal slave labor to produce their cheap products. I could never ethically order from them. If you're interested, google it -...

What breed of pigs are you keeping? I think they are called a sow.

    Cold preparation

I don't think you have anything to worry about. Keep them dry and out of the wind. My rabbits much prefer the cold over the heat of summer.

    Giants

I've got them on 17% protein all-flock pellets. They haven't been picky with anything I've fed them. I'll give them stuff from the garden and they happily eat anything I've fed them. They enjoy watermelon.

you're gonna have to face time with the the store manager before you drive out this time. Really confirm they have the feed 😂

    Pepper foliage for rabbits?

I have a bunch of pepper plants and never thought of feeding the leaves to the rabbits. Guess I'll give it a try too.

    Ear mite healing concerns

That's an incredible improvement! Her temperament might improve once she's feeling better. Well done.

    Doe not receptive

I had a difficult doe that would refuse to lift. I had to hold her while my buck did his thing. I did get a few successful litters from her, doing this. I moved her out of my rabbitry and life is a lot more peaceful. I kept one of her sons and he's mellow and doesn't give me any trouble. If you...

    Giants

This is my first year with Jersey Giant chickens and they have been great. Does anybody else keep them? They are much friendlier than I was expecting and they have been very hardy. I had terrible luck with turkeys but the giants haven't had any issues. I'm planning on processing them in...

    Champaign D'argent

I've been keeping Champagne's for almost a year. If you use the pelts, they are great. I like the fur and silvering. They have smaller ears than my New Zealand's and may not do as well in the heat. Mine made it through the summer up here but we stayed under 100.

Ouch! That looks like it hurts. Glad you culled him.

    Protective spray for trays

It only takes a few handfuls of the bedding in a tray. The first time I used it, I used way too much and it expanded into the cage 😂

    Protective spray for trays

I just checked the bag from TSC. There was no ingredient list, but it says there are no additives. It seems like it's just pine. I've been using it in my compost so hopefully nothing toxic is in there.

New rabbits... size and when to breed

I've got three New Zealand/Champagne d'argent sisters right now that are 15 weeks. I weighed the first one I could grab to compare to your 16 week olds. She was a little over 6lbs. I think that's fairly normal weight. 4lbs at 13 weeks seems on the low side. Are you feeding pellets? Did you weigh...
