    Distended stomach not wool block

I hope that they show the answer. It is odd that he is so hungry, but then ill. I hope the vet visit resolves it all in the positive for you.

    Is this normal?

Why do you think he is neutered? Did she tell you later? Or can you not find testicles? The bald patch along his back could be the beginning of a molt, some Germans molt, but not all. If he has flaky skin, he could have mites. Ivermectin could clear that right up.

    Some French Angora pics

Oh most definitely. They should be getting all sorts of long hair now. Congrats.

    Apple Cider Vinegar

I use ACV in my water daily and I've never had it smell bad. Now, I like the smell of vinegar, so I may not be all that much help there. It may be changing the composition of your well / city water to a state that smells really bad. I'm not a chemist, so I don't know exactly, but... I know some...

    Distended stomach not wool block

If fresh pineapple seems to make him upset, try either a dried version or there are papaya enzyme tablets, at places like Walmart in the Vitamin section that have the enzyme you're looking for. There is some debate on what the enzyme actually does. There is a theory that the enzyme merely...

    Some French Angora pics

They definitely come with a learning curve. Not quite as bad as having a coated breed show dog.... but close! I feel like I'm stuck in a skittles commercial though, because I seem to be amassing every single recognized color... and its broken cohort... I'm going to need more space if this goes on.

Updated Pics! Are they blue or lilac based?

I was thinking opal as well on the silverish agouti. But I can see why you were thinking harlequenized on the one, there does look like some very light markings.

    Breeding in the summer

And I don't know why I'm saving them all up to do together. I guess I figure it would save time, but if they continue to squeeze out space in my freezer, then, who cares about the saved time. 200?? Really?? LOL! I get this mental picture of a video game I play "The Long Dark" where I lay out...

Fleshing out the hides too? Oh my. Ya, you won't catch me there. I'm a wrap and into the freezer kinda person.

    Breeding in the summer

I should as well. I mean, if you're butchering out, and you have a meat breed, or a meat project, then it really is an important step. I'm much better on processing days, versus individuals that get culled.

    2nd litter w/ pictures!!

Beautiful little kits! I see the little blaze, but I know nothing about silver fox, so cannot help, I'm afraid.

    Nightmarish Doe

One of the best looking does in my herd, a grand champion, turns into a nightmare about two weeks prior to kindling until about 2 weeks after they've been born. I check the nest box with oven mitts on. I've considered switching to welding gloves. Because yes, she bites... but, now that they're...

Should I give up on this doe?

In my experience, those does that get worse, have a hard time improving again. It seems like the actual act of kindling is enough to stress them out at this point. But, I make allowances. I have a doe that has had 3 litters with me. First one was ok, but I immediately noticed that she kindled...

Thank you. I LOVE that movie. Just watched it about a month ago. Yes, I'm one of those crazies that watches Christmas films all year long. You can see why I didn't want to give him up. That color is really wonderful. He's an Angora, he can be pretty! Thank you.

    Distended stomach not wool block

Not seeing wool in in his stool does not necessarily rule out wool block. Yes, the string of pearls is a classic attention getter, but it's more the size and amount that tells more. His age, his stool should be largepea sized at the very least, up too small blueberry. They should be solid, but...

That is indeed my hope. She's a cutie, and her color brought her in under the wire, as I'd like to have more chocolates.

I really should. I mean... its just one little step, that I so often don't do.

    Some French Angora pics

Here are some of my kids... Call girl... my youngest addition. I have very high hopes for her. Her dam is a multi Best in Show winner Leaky Boots. Yup, that's her name. Its a long story about torrential rain and footwear that is past its waterproof date. Copper, a young buck I kept from...

    Breeding in the summer

It happened to you too? That's crazy! So, I wonder if earlier hormones means a better dress out ratio or worse. Or no effect. These guys seemed to gain better than some previous litters, although..... thats completely anecdotal, as I don't have weights to prove it.
