    Why is my rabbits dying

I look forward to all the pharmacies being sued for not dispensing. It's coming to a Walgreens and CVS near you.

    Why is my rabbits dying

Ivermectin is an antiviral and slows inflammation which is why it worked for covid. I have it in pill form from the pharmacy which adds in D3. Due to the increase in price I switched to injectable for myself and animals.

    Live and Learn

Stupid me, moved the babies into their nursery last week which has .5 inch wire bottom. Noticed 1 had a cut foot and now 3 do. I put down hay to end that. I had pads along the backside of it but that wasn't good enough. I feel really bad about that and thought I would post so others don't...

    **Updated Hand Feeding Formula**

that's so weird. i wonder if the mother chewed on some treated wood? Heck who knows. Glad the formula worked. I bought all the stuff and thank God I didn't have to use it but I got it when I do. Happy rabbiting!! My 7 babies are eating most weeds I pull from my garden along with pellets...

Hi all! What have you been doing lately?

I've done straw bale gardens and it was OK for some things but I went back to dirt. For your clay start piling on the manure compost thick this summer and by next spring you will have nice soil.

Hi all! What have you been doing lately?

Very pretty, great job! My hands are cramping just looking at it. Today I'm moving babies into the nursery and giving the doe her life back. She has served me well in providing babies but now she will be my pet. Gardens are growing well, lots of rain this spring. Fencing it all off so deer...

Talk to me about Mega Colon...

I think you will be fine. Good idea breeding both does at same time once they are of age. If you have room for all those babies for 10 weeks before processing. That's alot of babies coming your way ha. Anything you have questions about can be answered on this forum. These are very cool...

    Second opinion please

3 weeks old now. The smallest one is still small but made it. It happens to be the prettiest one. They are eating pellets and oats and greens now. Doe is a good mother but if she is feeding them it's when I'm not seeing it. I am retiring her from breeding and she will just be a pet.

    Off to a rocky start

I've only been nipped and both mine are sweeties. He gets all manly when she is pregnant, and she just takes a cheap shot once in a while when I am putting her back in the cage. Like here take that! Smarties.

    Struggling With Heavy Losses

I haven't used this but if I need to I am trying this: 1/2 cup evaporated goat's milk (undiluted) 1 egg yolk 1/2 teaspoon corn syrup 1 teaspoon powered colostrum supplement for newborn animals 1/8 teaspoon Bene Bac probiotic powder (my addition to get their guts working better) **DO NOT...

    Second opinion please

good point. This morning, day 4, they all seem ok. The one still seems a bit small but doe is feeding so I'm going to let it be since they were all pretty active at 6am. She probably just fed. I should mount a camera.

OK thanks. Anyone ever use their furs to line the bucket with? I got plenty of them and didn't put any chemical on them. One on the bottom of them and one on top? It's warm here today.

    Off to a rocky start

I like NZ rabbits. wear leather gloves in case you have a biter but ya if they like it take 'em out one by one and spend quality time. the older they get the more they will want you around. Always fun but careful of the biters if any. They are so quick.

    Second opinion please

Hello all. Doe had 7 kits 3 days ago, well today is day 3. She is feeding but one looks like it could use some more. Do I mix up some formula and try to feed them some more or should I just let her do her job? One does look like it could eat more but??? I may cause more harm than good. I...

    Putting rabbits outside

They will be out soon. I let my doe out to eat greens daily. She kindled 2 days ago. I have a big front entry box and I leave it in the doe's cage all the time until it gets real hot. Whatever works for you!

    New Member, couple questions.

Hello. I'm in the woods and right now is biting gnat and skeeters. They don't bother my rabbits in the hutch that I can tell. Chickens, they will eat the little ones up. Ya that doe, biting is not something I would put up with unless she put out good babies and she is not so her number is up...
