    Kit color I.D. help?

Pearls do have points, darker on face, ears, tail... and lighter body color. Smoke pearl is possible, darker colored body with that one, but not sure how likely with what you've listed as parentage. My first thought would be the shaded gene got in there somehow. PSFAngoras had a post last year...

Keeping Rabbits Cool in hot temperatures

I honestly find that frozen ceramic floor tiles are the absolute easiest option; smallest freezer area commitment, rabbits get the coolness to their bellies where they need it, and a lot less "moisture" to work with that can cause any number of disease outbreaks.

    Popples a Plenty

Oh Ferra, I have been so stupidly busy, but I am freakishly under the weather today, so I am trying to just surf, for fun... LOL! And to little DD babies!!! I'm so thrilled and happy. You are so wonderful. Thank you for taking such great care of these kids. Congrats to you and mch wishes for...

I took a vacation in Arizona...

I want to thank Ferra. We had such a great time with her visit, and I have such high hopes for this trio. She really choose an amazing combination. Plus, we had a great time hiking, coffee tasting, Mexican cuisine eating, shopping and guild meeting attending. In 48 hours we did absolutely as...

Last Show for the Season, Southern Colorado

I would have loved to see you all at the show. I ended up with a local fair (non ARBA) show. Anyone have plans for Reno in May?

    New Title: In Indy

I need to start wearing those tags at shows. That would be fun. I'd completely forgotten about them. Maybe tape one to my sales board. I've had to change my plans for Indy. I wanted to go, but, I'm changing gears a little bit. Plus, the couple I really wanted to show just won't be in coat...

    New Title: In Indy

I had planned on it. I just decided to redirect my efforts to Angora Nationals 2018 which happens to be a lot closer to me. May, Reno, Nevada.

    Broken/ Butterfly Pattern

I have brokens in my French Angora. I don't find them difficult but there are things to remember. Half of every litter is broken if one parent is broken. You shouldn't breed broken to broken, so sometimes that adds a breeding hiccup. And I find about 1 in 4 has a mismark, usually in the form of...

    Newbie questions

I second what Sable advises. I brought home 3 rabbits once, it took one of them a week before he ate, a month before he ate with any sort of regularity, and longer still where I felt his weight was going back up. But... once he started eating, I got to see his lovely personality, which didn't...

    I must be insane!

Rabbitosis seems to come with an ability to make these things work out. I call it magic math!

    Newbie questions

I would not give him any other treats until after he has started eating pellets again. It's not worth the risk to his health. He WILL eat again, and you want to make sure it is something that won't upset his stomach. As far as his attitude. My best guess is that yes, new surroundings and all...

    Separation post-spaying

I've heard 30 days, simply that so she heals enough where he can't re-injure her with any rough housing. And this gives her some time to be adjusted to her new hormone balance as well, so that she doesn't hurt him. She may be a tad crabby for a bit.

    Is this normal?

TJax2002, How is your boy doing? Feeling better I hope.

    Best breed for a newbie?

I would third the recommendation on Himi's. Good all around breed, gentle, stoic and not a 15 lb. + undertaking liked a Giant.

    Finally! Babies

Congrats on the litters! I was hoping your Britannia would take off. I feed purina show, and it's been good to me, but my feed supplier is unreliable on keeping it on the shelves. So... I'm glad to hear complete is working for you. I may have to switch.
