    Mastitis prevention

Clean cages make sure there no manure piling up would be a start..idk if milk fever is a thing for rabbits but I'd keep her feed the same maybe feed her more on kindling day (also less chance of her eating kits if she's full 🤔) then I kind of wing it for feed and follow the whole if she's...

So in my barn I have chickens peacocks and rabbits. I went to sweep the floor and you wouldn't believe the dust cloud. Is there anyway to keep the dust down? Also am I better off to clean with a mop and bucket or should I grab a vacuum? I have 2 litters on the go ATM

    Hay feeder for kits

This is my hay feeder it backs onto 1x1 cage wire. My question is is the 1x1 space easy enough for kits to pull through hay? I could cut them to 1x2 or 2x2 thoughts?

    Fly season coming

I was thinking spraying dawn dish soap or vinegar on the trays after scraping would that work to maybe help air quality and deter flys? I just read too that dawn dish soap is a good insecticide substitute for plants

    Fly season coming

I'm using a pan system for the manure from the rabbits. I was wondering if there is any kind of spray I could use after scraping them to hopefully ward off/kill flies or lower the amonia content. The trays are metal and 1 1/2" deep

Thus weekend I plan on moving mom to a new cage and letting the kits start to grow out. Early haystaching

When a doe carrys hay around obviously trying to make a nest at let's say 20 days should I throw the nest box in? Is it too early? I've also read that if they do this at 14 days they aren't pregnant is this true?

    Supplementary feeding

@ladysown I fully agree with you I'm just thinking in terms of closing the weight gap in fryers

    Supplementary feeding

Is there any danger of feeding kits between feedings with mom? I notice in a lot of growth charts there seems to be 1-2 kits that are all stars (weight wise) and the rest fall behind. Wondering if I bottle/syringe fed when I went out if it would impact there want for finding mom's ****s lol...
