    Rabbit names

You have really thought long and well about naming! I was putting it off, but then I just wait til something comes. I have a huge NZ Flemish cross, black with ticking like agouti, he's Big Daddy. A tiny black NZ doe, only 3 months is Inky Dink. A sweet NZ Flemish cross doe, also 3 months with...

    Not new, but returning!

That's good to know that because my doe that I bought the nice nest box for and lined with cardboard and set up with lots of cushioning, was like "For me?! Sweet! I have a new bed and I'm just going to poo and pee in it instead of getting up because it's SO comfortable!" Then after all that...

    Field peas for rabbits?

Thanks for the information on Modesto Milling, I really appreciate it! 😁 Edit: I have nine, and I'm on waiting lists for Silver Fox and Palomino breeding trios for next Spring, so it's way more OOP and I'm on a fixed income, sigh.

    Field peas for rabbits?

Thanks VERY much for the precise breakdown, it's very informative! I have a couple 25lb bags of Palouse green split peas off of Amazon, buckets of high percent protein organic wheat berries, and bags of rice put aside for if I can't get my usual quail feed. I've had supply issues so stay a...

    Best breed/lines

Good to know about the Chinchilla and heat. I am in mountains also, 4K feet, we only get down to around 18 degrees at the coldest, but can have days at 105 in summer.

    Field peas for rabbits?

um??? pls read i’m very confused right now

Actually slugs and snails carry parasites that some animals can handle, some can't.

    Field peas for rabbits?

I was interested too but what I came up with when searching was that peas are too gassy for rabbits and can cause gastric issues. I wanted to know because I wanted to try a pellet that was corn and soy free. The only one I found that I like the ingredients of was Modesto Milling, which had peas...

    Hey from VA!

Coturnix have a learning curve like everything else but I find them to be very easy now that I've studied them excessively and had them for a couple years. I just downsized my birds and swapped my second quail run out to make it into a rabbit run. I have bought three batches of breeding quintets...
