What model is it? I do dry hatches and don't add water until lockdown. Then I fill up all the water and let it go. I had to put a thermometer in there to double check if the temp was right. Mine runs 1 degree behind what it reads so I just upped the temp and it's been going for 2 years now.

I have to agree they look like white wings. As for ***, I seem to have about 1/3 female with each hatch. If you have more than 1 roo to each 4-6 hens you will have problems. I dispatch the extras no later than 9 weeks. I have my fingers crossed for you that you have a ton of hens.

Have a look on Craigslist. I got my original stock there and so far they have been the healthiest ones I've had. I've purchased eggs from the known quail egg places but my Craigslist birds are the ones still here and still going strong years later.
