i came home from work today to find a dead kit out of the inside nesting area, just one no more even born. she hasn't build a nest either.
these are my first bread does so i trying to figure things out.
They are the breeds i have, no other reason. The NZ doe is bread (so the buck is just sitting around) and the Polsih Buck is not mature yet (so the doe is just sitting around). So i thought i could get another litter this year by crossing them.
Thank everyone, I will not attempt this cross.
I guess my only reason is to put a little size into the polish so if they don't sell they can feed something or someone. And to put a little color into the Florida's for 'unique ness' as pets
Thanks everyone
buck and doe are both virgins, see lifts the buck mounts and tries but stops before finishing.
He does the same thing on both does.

I took my NZW doe for a ride last night because i heard it can help get them 'ready' and i have not had luck with her and the buck. and it worked, but my buck didn't know what he was doing and another night with out success.
What other breed besides Californian breeds good to a New Zealand for meat rabbits?
Also, would like to bread it to something like a lion head for selling as pets unless they would mix well for meat.
Any suggestions?
