    How old before butchering?

I raise NZ so about 5 lbs or 10 weeks. Once they hit age of being sexed and eating on their own, they get separated in to appropriate "community" cages until Freezer Camp.

Yet again........peeing in the nest box question.

I've got a first timer that thinks the nest box is for bathroom use as well. So I feel your frustration. I'm giving her one more chance since she didn't breed last time...if she continues to do it then I'll replace her with one from my two new litters. I've already have to replace 1 or 2....3...

sounds about right. I found that WD40 works wonders and gets rid of mites exceptionally fast. Good Luck....and I would make sure that the next play date, her critters are critter free.

any one got any tips on how to pick up a unwilling rabbit

I have always scruffed them and then scooping up at their rear and grabbing their hind legs. If they freak, I let them hang upside down until they calm down (normally doesn't take to long)then scruff them again, still holding on to the hind legs. It doesn't hurt them at all. I have a VERY...
