    Silver Fox silvering question

The first two images would be an ideal silvering. the third image has too much silvering, and the last image has too little silvering. As Alaska Satin said you want almost a salt-and-pepper look evenly distributed among the body. It gets easier to tell the more experience you have.

    Need help gendering

I wouldn't worry about them accidentally being bred this young, it's most likely a dominance thing. It's hard to be sure about the gender through pictures. I would watch a YouTube video or two, look at a few pictures, and then check their gender. I did this when I was learning, and it helped a lot.

    Not new, but returning!

I live in eastern Washington where it rains way too much! Last night, I came inside and I was completely soaked. I was wearing a raincoat, but it soaked through to my sweatshirt and then to my shirt! The gutter near where I keep my rabbits overflowed and started spilling into their area. On the...

All seven of Glitter's kits are doing great – five does and two bucks. Almost all of them are sold or spoken for, as long as people follow through. I recently acquired a new black silver fox pedigreed buck that is 7 months old and looks great. I've bred him to two does, Moon and Darlin. Moon is...

    Injured/Sick Rabbit(s) - Needing Input

Give the doe lots of food and water, kits can take a lot from a doe. What are you feeding? How old are the kits?

    Breeding age

Welcome to Rabbit Talk! I raise Silver Foxes and a few New Zealands. You can breed a doe at 5 months, and she will be around 6 months old when she has kits. However, a doe can be 8 months old and still not be mentally ready to become a mom. I would recommend waiting until she is around 5 1/2...

    Silver Bliss Rabbitry

Glitter is due on the 4th! I bred her with black(not my favorite buck :( but it's the only one she let get a fall off). She was getting really nasty so I was hoping to breed her to one of my calmer bucks. I just realized the 6th will mark one year on rabbit talk! Rabbit talk has truly been a...

    New To Rabbits, Feed Question

It's so exciting to have your first rabbits!💖 What you are feeding is fine, I pick grass for my rabbits too. If they are healthy I won't do any coccidia treatment(If they start looking sickly then do the treatment), you can put a little bit of apple cider vinegar in their waters every other day...

    Need advice about Craigslist sale

I had a customer who wanted two rabbits for meat breeding purposes. I sold them a young doe and buck. I received an email the next day saying, “When I brought the rabbit home, it had a little fur missing on its back, and now it’s gotten bigger!” I was sure the rabbit had no missing fur when I...

    Help sexing kits

The first is a doe, the second I believe is a buck, the third a doe, and the fourth a doe. Are you sure they are four months old?
