in pigs you have sows, boars, piglets, gilts.

A gilt becomes a sow once she has had piglets. if your female pigs have not have piglets before they are gilts, but as soon as they reproduce they are called sows.

Thanks so much! Well, one of the three gilts is now a sow! She had 6 piglets 2 boys and 4 girls. she is a wonderful mother.

Darlin had 7 kits! She had black's whites and a lilac. I need to sell the rest of glitters kits along with a couple others. The piglets are getting huge, we nicknamed one chunky and another fatty lol.

Glitter had nine kits. One was found out of the nest box around two hours before she kindled the rest of her kits. She had seven blacks, one blue, and one chocolate.

We sold all of the piglets but 4 of them(2 boys to eat and 2 gilts to breed). Darlins kits or getting so big! I rebred Darlin she is due on New Year's Day. Sold two 8-month-old Silver foxes bred.

Darlin started making her nest! I love watching them make other nests. She is due on 1/1/25. Mila is due on 12/31/24. This will be her first time, so we will see if she passes the test. The piglets are huge; I can't pick them up anymore, lol. I am taking Dusk and Legacy to the New Year's Day show in Centralia. I'm so excited to see what they place! Finally bred legacy (Man he was being stubborn) She is due on 1/22/25. It's so weird that it's going to be 2025! Any New Year's resolutions? I don't have many lol. Get a better rabbitry set up, breed better rabbits, work out, wake up earlier...you know the normal stuff lol.

Darlin's kits are so big, they all wanted to see what I was doing lol. I like the blue doe so far. Glitter's kits were a pain to get a picture of because mom kept putting her face in the camera!)
