Hi. I just found out about this forum while doing an internet search about an issue. This is very much like the Backyard chicken forum I used a lot when I just had chickens. My husband and I started with meat rabbits a few months ago and put them straight into a colony setup. Lots of dirt to dig in. We have kits now that are adorable. It’s a learning process, for sure. I might just be too invested in this process 😉!

Welcome. It's always constant learning. I am alway making changes on the path of learning to let rabbits be rabbits and relinquish some control. we have found we enjoy our rabbits more than we thought we would. Colony raising is a big part of that. So much fun to see social interactions, mutual grooming, kits climbing over mom and pop lounging in the yard.. bulk feeding and watering, lessens chores... And the meat is the best! Welcome to a wonderful adventure.
