This is my first year with Jersey Giant chickens and they have been great. Does anybody else keep them? They are much friendlier than I was expecting and they have been very hardy. I had terrible luck with turkeys but the giants haven't had any issues. I'm planning on processing them in November. I'm going to get a lot more next year. When the light hits their feathers, they have a green sheen that I think is pretty cool.
