So tomorrow I am going to my first rabbit show. And of course, I am jumping into it head first and showing a rabbit while I am there! I will also be picking up a few Satin rabbits! As some of you know, I could not find any anywhere. But I found 2 wonderful ladies in Virginia that are helping me into TEAM SHEEN. This will be my second breed, I already have New Zealands. And hopefully I will buy a few New Zealand if there are any.
This is the beautiful Copper Satin Buck I will be showing/buying!

He is proven, he has several legs and at least one best in show!
I also made my own show carriers in an attempt to save money at the show. They are 3 holes each hole measuring 8x16. I am in the processes of making a pole barn to hang 18 cages from. In the meantime I will use t-posts to stand my cages on until it is done. Wish me luck, if you guys have any tips please send them my way! I will update you guys on how it goes.

Have fun! That's so exciting!

Update guys!! I actually showed two bucks. They both won BOV twice and BOB once each. I have to say, it was all by default as I was the ONLY youth showing satins. The judge for BIS gave my copper buck Jake (pic in post) a second glance. He got DQ'd for being a pound under in the first show but the other judge did not weigh him. My other buck is a broken black junior. My 2 does I got are 11 weeks old and they are Broken copper and Copper. I should get chins, opals, blacks, copper, and reds. I will try to post pics of all soon. Thank you guys so much for the support.

It sounds like you had a good time. I would love to see pics.

The does sound so lovely! Congratulations on the wins, and rounding off your herd. I have to say the satins are so beautiful! I have a Blue and a Charlie (hence their names). However, I haven't found a male yet. On the other hand, I'm running out of room until I rebuild in the Spring, so I can wait. Loving the reds and coppers I've seen.
