My Flemish Giant doe is due to kindle on Monday. Yesterday she started having labored breathing. She miscarried two preemie kits today. I am sure she has more, but I can't feel them with her.
Not eating much, drinking a little and still labored breathing.
This is her second kindle. She was treated with Ivermectin for fur mites a few weeks back.

Her first kindle she kindled one kit at 30 days, DOW. The next day she kindled 9 in her nest box, all survived. She got really skinny with this litter. I gave her several weeks after weaning before breeding her back. I wean at 8 weeks.

What should I give her?
I have on hand: Critical Care, Bene-Bac, Vitamins & Electrolytes Plus, Colloidal Silver, and Corid.
How much? She weighs around 15 pounds.

Thank you!

Raspberry leaves of raspberry leaf tea?
Willow branches for pain?
She has been getting both. I will give her more willow in the morning. I have fresh raspberry plant/leaves and she didn't eat them earlier. She didn't even eat her oats which she loves.

lavender to pregnant does
Thank you. Good to know. I am hoping that she holds on for a few more days until the babies are fully developed.

I just want to calm her breathing and make her more comfortable.

If she's not eating much I'd pull out everything I have to try to keep things moving: Critical Care (as much as she's willing to eat), Benebac (a blob squirted in her mouth 1-2 times a day) and vitamins/electrolytes would all be on the list. Offer her parlsey (can be an appetite stimulant) and any other greens she might like. I'd hold off on Corid unless you know you've got a coccidia problem.

Is it possible that she was overweight? In the past I've had overweight does go toxic during pregnancy and ironically end up so underweight that it almost hurt to look at them. One of them, my daughter's black Satin Princess, went from over 10 pounds to barely 6 pounds in the course of a week and a half. She miscarried about 3/4 of the way through her pregnancy. It was touch and go for a while but eventually she did pull through (lots of TLC).

Princess did not have labored breathing, but that can sometimes be a result of pain. Is she grinding her teeth as well?

WARNING: graphic photos.

Unfortunately I lost her today. She did tend to lose a lot of weight while pregnant.
I did open her up. I have no idea what to look for, but I know her organs didn't look good.
Here are the photos that I took.

I am thinking Coccidiosis.
So sorry to hear you lost her.
Yes, that liver looks like coccidiosis to me. Was there a lot of fluid in the body cavity when you opened it? Possibly she contracted the disease during the last litter when she lost so much weight, and never fully recovered. I am not sure if a rabbit can recover from hepatic coccidiosis on its own, or if it always needs treatment.
However, there is also quite a lot of fat there, which doesn't really suggest long-term illness.
Did you find any more kits?
