I'm finding people aren't too interested in starting a rabbitry around here. I think they may regret that this winter. I'm selling one this week and the rest will grow out. Thanks for the advice y'all.

I think that may be more of a colony raising thing than individual cages thing. Like cats, kittens that are seperated from their mother and siblings "early" (typical time to sell kittens) tend to have weird behavior like playing too rough and not interacting with other cats normally. When raised with mama they tend to learn "how to cat" better. But that's not something a caged rabbit needs to know anyway.
That kind of behaviour also works through into interactions with their own kits and people, so actually it is usefull for them to know. From what i see and hear of other species that have been weaned to early the problems show up in other interactions as well and sometimes into health problems from stress or not knowing how to groom properly even. Babies learn much more from their parents then just what to eat, they learn how to be a healthy well adjusted animal of that species.
