Yeah, I had to start a website to sell rabbits, too, but it's kinda fun! Bought the domain from, hmm, I've forgotten. It was either 'GoDaddy' or 'NameCheap', in any case, it's not expensive. Then I learned HTML and CSS to write the website and it's hosted on HostGator. That gives me absolute control over the website so I can post what I want and no worry about being shut down.

It's probably not the easiest way to build a website, although when I started it not all websites were cellphone friendly and the website builder 'helper' software wasn't up to speed on meshing with cellphones so if I wanted the website to work on cellphones it was about the only way. Now, it's easier.

You can also put up static pages on the care and keeping of the rabbits so you don't have to tell the same things to people over and over again. It doesn't have to just be about rabbits, either, I put all kinds of stuff on the website. Why not? It's there and there's so much available space that it's gonna take forever to fill it up.

For awhile, I had a Google Sites website - which is free, but it doesn't have much storage and pictures will fill it up quickly. So, like a lot of other folks, I stored the pictures on PhotoBucket and linked them to the Google Site. PB finally noticed and shut down all pictures being viewed off their website. They then relented later and just branded the pictures with "PhotoBucket" but let them be seen. However, while all the pictures were gone, that's when I decided to just get my own website.

You've probably already sold your available rabbits, but there's probably other folks who have some to sell.

We live in such a digital world that sometimes we forget that old school still works. Have you tried putting a poster up at the local feed store and/or the local veterinary offices? Or other community bulletinboards? We forget that the real world is out there sometimes, I think, and try to do everything digitally.

When you think about it, you're gonna sell a rabbit to someone local or have to ship it via some sort of commercial carrier. Which isn't gonna happen for a cute but easy to find somewhere else type of rabbit. So a sign at the local feed store would reach folks locally. With FB anymore, there's so many different groups, pages and subjects that it's hard to actually sort through all the mess, even with FB Marketplace.

Same thing if you find a lost pet, don't post it on FB, post it on a telephone pole near where you found the lost pet.
