It has been a while. I have been without a computer for several years, and my "smart phones" I've had in the interim made me feel really stupid. Now, I am dealing with a laptop that uses Edge as a browser(?) I am currently caring for only 1 rabbit. I have experienced the work of Animal Rights Extremists with the theft of my AmChin, Maureen, in April. HINT: never have a life threatening health issue until AFTER you get your animal someplace safe.

anyway. I hope this proves a safer place than FB. I am working Against the AR nimrods who want to remove our right to raise or keep animals.

So nice to "see" you here again. :cool: I was thinking about you just the other day and wondering how you were doing. People come and people go, but it's still the same friendly helpful community here.

welcome to RT! Glad to have you.

With social media accounts I try to have an assumed name for any rabbit business/conversations. It's hard sometimes to keep them separate, but it's safer than having AR people target you.

Maggie, I almost died at the beginning of April. AR nimrods came into my apartment the day after paramedics pulled me out, and stole my rabbit, the person who was here to take her home was lied to. Oh... it was the paramedics that came back and took Maureen. M was 11 years old!
If you remember Skinny Acres, well, she provided a Holland lop a few weeks ago. Quinn wasn't working out as a momma rabbit. I am on a waiting list for assisted living, and Quinn gets to come with me. If you remember SkysTheLimit, she's busy immersing herself in creative endeavors.
One thing this group did was bring 2 very special people into my life. NOw, I must live vicariously through others!

I"m sorry to hear about your Maureen being stolen from you. I'm glad that you didn't die and hopefully have a chance to do enjoy the current rabbit you have within your new place! :)

I'm so sorry you've been going through such rough times, Terry, and that you lost your Maureen to the AR people. Things like that make me furious -- there is no excuse for such highhanded and insensitive actions.

I think you'll find assisted living much more pleasant and manageable. My mobility issues are substantial nowadays, and I recently spent a couple of weeks in a retirement home of that type while work was being done on my home. If I'd had my cat, Jenny, with me and my computer and access to the Internet, I'd have been quite content.

Keep in touch and I hope to hear that life gets easier for you soon.
