What colors are these?

How old are they now? September 1st, so...oh, that's easy to remember! 13 days!
Eyes open, nibbling newly relined nest with fresh hay. One even climbed out to wander mom's cage.

They're living with orphans during the day.
Wonder what colors these might be, but they're on milk replacer, so who knows if they'll all make it to weaning. 🤔 Might be better to wait? Ah well, it's good practice either way.

Black mom, broken black dad.
4 days old now.
2 black, 4 broken black & 1 blue magpie?

I knew I was forgetting something. The "japanese" one. 😅

"Harlequin rabbits come in two types: Japanese and Magpie.
Japanese Harlequins are generally orange and either black, blue, chocolate, or lilac,
while Magpie Harlequins are white (instead of orange) and either black, blue, chocolate, or lilac."

So, changing my guess to blue japanese, as I looked again and it looks to have orangy hair instead of bright white like the others.

Longer video, because they're more squiggly now. 😍

Morning orphans after feeding. Set them outside in the shade, warmer outside than in the house. Broken eats pretty easily, harli still a bit weird about it.
3ml seems to be the limit still. So, in a few hours, they'll get 1ml and repeat that throughout the day.

The doe leaning into the nest box in the photos at the beginning looks like she's silvered. If she's the dam of this blue bunny, that might explain it. Although, most of the silvered rabbits I've had anything to do with don't get their silvering that young.

you have some very small kits in with those big kits. Is this a shared nestbox?
The orphan pics?
No.
Put them in to heat up after I found them. Then left them in hoping they might get some milk, but didn't.
2 are left, in the house, being hand fed.
Hoping to give them to a new mom, if I have one that can take them.

Cute babies! I just recently welcomed a litter of Mini Rex that I’m super excited about! It looks like it’s 2 chocolates, a black, and a broken black! The sire is EMRE(Broken Lynx)
And the dam is DRAGON-FRUIT(Black) 2F6BD645-6228-4958-85F7-20A395233932.png095309B1-033A-4751-8ABB-B91EDD682BE9.jpegE93C3B35-EC22-45CC-9F48-F543D164A9D7.jpeg

My grumpy SF had her kits! Moved the orphans in, one might make it, but the other probably won't. It won't take from syringe either.

I think I'll keep this thread for multiple color litters instead of making a zillion new threads. At least, for now.

Blue Silver Fox bred to broken black NZ/rex & an amber Rex.
Brokens gotta belong to the broken mutt buck.

Interesting colors!

Broken, darker sides. Tort is my random guess based on the two tone, but other colors can be smutty. Can that show early?
