My rabbit, Lily, just kindled Saturday. 11 kits. It appears she has mastitis. My guess. I have put 4 of the kits with two other mamas. I have massaged her and used a warm cloth on her. What else should I be doing? Any herbs or weeds that can help?
Thank you!

get the kits to nurse on that nipple to get the gick out of it. Perhaps administer Penicillin (long-lasting) to help fight the infection.

Thank you.
I have put them on. It doesn't appear that they are able to get anything out. I put one of the larger ones on too, thinking it would be more aggressive. I didn't put them on after the warm cloth though. I will try that tonight.

No, I have not tried the Aloe Vera.

I should have done my due diligence on Aloe Vera.
Other Internet sites say Rabbits should not eat or consume aloe vera; the peel of this famous plant can cause digestive problems and even the death of your rabbit. You should avoid at all times having aloe vera near your rabbit. Can Rabbits Eat Aloe Vera? All You Need to Know - The Tilth
Okay, thanks. I like to go by someone's personal experience since the internet is so full of controversy.
My rabbit seems to be doing better. I have been putting a warm compress on her about 3 times a day. She lays on her back in my lap for 10-15 minutes. After a few minutes, I put a couple of her kits on to nurse. She just lays there. I love this rabbit!
