I know that you shouldn't brush mini-rexes because it can damage their fur. What about stains? We have just received a white mini-rex and he has some stains on his backside, is there a way to clean this and not damage their fur?

Thanks!

Spray with a 50X50 mix of White Vinegar and water.
Then rub Cornstarch into the area to the consistency of tooth paste.
Let it dry, then brush it out. You may have to repeat treatment
two or more times for stubborn stains, but this will even remove tattoo ink.
Ottersatin. :eek:ldtimer:

Hmm...I have been told by many Std. Rex breeders NOT to use peroxide as it can change the appearance of the fur...is it different with MiniRex?

I haven't had a problem with it and I was told that by my friend who has had mini rexes for about 20 years now
