I currently have a litter of 7 American Blues. They're 4 weeks old today. I have been very surprised at how quickly they are growing. This evening, I brought them in and weighed them all to get an idea of what to expect from now on. Smallest one was 16.9 oz. The largest one was 20.9 oz. The average weight of them all is 18.33 oz. Since this is my first litter, I really have no idea whether the growth thus far is good, mediocre, or not so hot. I've seen numerous threads indicating a slaughter weight of 5 lbs in 10 weeks or so was decent. But, I've not been able to find any information which would indicate what weight to expect at specific points during their growth. So, are the weights I have now good or not?
