When is it time? Older Rabbits

If he stops eating he will die. Since rabbits tend to be clean animals, what about putting some sticky paste/mush made from greens/pellets or some such on the top of his front feet? I understand the don't want to stress him part, but honestly if an animal shows willingness to quit living i'd...

What other critters do you have?

Only rabbits now. Had pasture with sheep, ponies and chickens, rented but owners wanted it back due to mismanaging their own gras and needing more.

    Taking a tamed bunny outdoors?

I know people take cats on walks and adventures like that (or more likely in a backpack version), but rabbits are more vulnerable and they know it. They are also way more likely to catch something that kills them, run away or panic and break their back. If you want a pet you can take places, get...

2 year old doe not feeding

Yes for milk. Not for expelling kits, i have no warning about not feeding it to pregnant does for bringing on labor, although there is another one you shouldn't feed because of that. Name eludes me right now. Edit: starting labor herb was lavender.

Lifespan of unneutered male New Zealand?

Bit of google says : yes spay/neuter works for both, average age for pet bunnies is 8 - 12 years, one list said 5-6 for new zealand rabbit. Size, diet, care and breed have influence on lifespan.

    Tattooing age

Official here dwarfs need to be 12 weeks for tattoo, bigger breeds can be younger, but i haven't seen any advice under 8 weeks old and maybe even 10. Part will be enough ear to tattoo in the first place, maybe also to wait untill ears are grown and tattoo doesn't distort? Although grown enough...

    Chaos

Panic rabbit likely, she could be to young given size and 7 months old. Advice for standard/big size is 8-9 months for first breeding.

    Chaos

What does the tan doe do/not do? Race along the walls of the cage at breakneck speed? Chase the buck? Mesh with the cage in a corner and hide? Just lay there and not lift? And what do her parts look like? Clean? dark pink/purple or almost white?

Need advice for new meat source

Giving the same response here that the i don't like lamb reaction from family got : then you are not hungry enough. Other than that : cooking techniques does lots for this. Half Afrika makes very tasty fried chicken out of laid out old layer hens we don't want because tough and to much flavour...

    Chaos

Yes there is a rule book. Written in backwardsmirror script and language unknown. Also useless as cagebedding. So write your own, rabbits can't read anyway so writing instructions for them on what they should do is pretty pointless.

    Covering cage wire edges?

Safe to nibble would be wood (needs regular replacing, but serves as chewstick). Safe they won't nibble on metal (costly).

    Cage height question

Bottom of the cage same height as your kitchen counter or top of your hips about. Kitchencounter height is for easy work height when standing and that applies to the cages also. Might need a little higher so try it out before you fix things permanently. Top of the cage is not where you need to...

How high can a new zealand rabbit jump?

Having found kits on top of hayfeeders and seeing them climb to get up there, top is the best guarantee for them staying where you want them. Also make certain the walls will hold if pushed on by the rabbit. Most likely reasons for breaking out : fear, hunger, boredom and for males a female...

Is there a market for rabbits?

If you want some pets, look into rehoming some. If you want to breed animals no matter what species, first answer for yourself the question of what to do with the ones you cannot/don't want to keep and can't get sold direct to consumer. Either find a buyer who won't care what breed or such it...
