I had that problem last fall, only one of my bucks seemed interested in the ladies at all. I had the does under lights but not the bucks. Someone suggested to put the bucks under lights as well and it worked like a charm. Lots of litters all through the winter. Shouldn't be a problem this...

Perhaps you could find someone in your area that raises meat rabbits on a small scale and would not mind processing a few extra for a small price. If I was closer to you I would do it. Just a thought, how much would everyone consider a reasonable price for processing a couple of rabbits?

We drive the quad with a noisy trailer attached through the barn all the time, it's how I muck stalls. Also we have big noisy roll-up doors at both ends of the barn. The buns get used to it really quick and I actually think they are less stressed by the noise, etc. when I take them to a show...

A lot of my babies pee red. Seems to be no problem at all, very healthy. They also grow out of it eventually.

Thanks Dood, I knew the chances of them carrying self was low, but not impossible. Three of the grandparents definitely carried self. I keep all my bucks in a separate room so I'm sure of the parentage.

It's going to be interesting to see if they start to catch up now that they've finally started eating solid food. They were slower to come out of the nest box and start eating on their own than the other litters.
