How about a heating pad with cover (setting on low) --this is what we use for our pinkie squirrels from birth to 8 weeks old.
We place a fleece blanket over the already covered heating pad and place it on one side of the cage and leave the other side
of the cage empty so the babies can crawl...
I am thinking of getting a resting mat for my pet holland lops..... but I am wondering --If the the mats are plastic, do I have to worry about him chewing on it?

Thank you so much for the pics at the beginning of this post.... I now know the bunny I just took in is a boy and not a girl like its owner for the last year thought he was.... lol. and that also explains the reason why he has been doing a lot of circling around me since we brought him home...
