    Time to sell

    In my state the min is 8 weeks. Even if that wasn't the case though I routinely lose 3-7 week olds to coccid so I never sell at less than 8 weeks. If coccid isn't a problem in your area and the state law allows it...then the earlier the better!

    I feed each doe 4oz as normal. I have an additional 40 does being raised to add to the harem, so it is closer to 80 adult does right now. Then add in 100-150 raise-outs at any given time + breeder bucks.

    I run a similar operation that I started 6 months ago. I use the dried manure to make byproducts for mushroom growing. The manure makes me FAR more than the rabbits do... and I breed as aggressively as possible to maximize rabbit profits. I don't use a "laboratory setup" as you suggest though...

    Switching feeds kills young rabbits.... so sometimes gotta soak up the price changes for a few months to get a good window for a food switch.
