I Raise NZ and California's in south central KY. I just bought a couple from a central KY breeder recently. I can share the contact info if your still looking.

This isn't a recipe but I figured it may be the best place to post. This meat is around 3 months old. It was in freezer zip lock bag. Would these white spots be freezer burn? It's hopefully going to be dinner tonight.

I couldn't fine a thread on this with my exact situation. I have a first time mom who should be kindling in a couple days or so. She was quiet, more than usual, this morning and hasn't finished her meal for a couple days which is odd for her. I assume it may be because she is close to due date...

Interesting. I have a young doe that is not being receptive. Maybe she needs more time but I will try morning next time. I usually do evening for my convenience sake.

I'm curious if anyone has a preferred time of day for breeding? After or before meals? Early in the day or late? I'm still in my first year raising rabbits and have been successful with the majority of breeding but this is something I have wondered about. Thanks for any insight!

The parents of these little guys were supposed to be pure NZ. Two out of this litter have shorter hair and curly whiskers. They are also the only 2 that are colored broken chestnut, I guess is what you call it. The other kits have longer hair and straight whiskers. I'm just curious if maybe...

Possibly. I had another litter about the same time and it was much more friendly and all but the runt survived. This poor guys litter mates were different. Not as friendly as the others, 2 were short haired and 3 others, I think, passed away early on.

He was very strange looking. I feel like his head was misshapen as well but maybe just the thin hair threw me off.
