OK!, this is encouraging info. I was hoping this might be the case.

So today is the day that we were to breed our rabbits for the first time. One male, 2 females. When I took the females to his cage, he did his thing but then both "females" did that thing back to him. I am afraid I have 3 males. Have I overlooked something? :oops:

So our rabbits are very hot. This is the second day at 109. The rabbits are in a room in the barn ,I have a fan on them and was able to take them ice twice today( that is all we had.) I have misted them several times and given them fresh cool water. All of them lay listless, breathing quickly...

So it was hot here today. It's still hot. I am concerned about my rabbits. They are in a well ventilated room in the barn with a fan and I have taken them as much ice as I have. They still sem to be overheated. I realy want to do the right thing here. What do I do?

Sorry it took so long to get back. The work is never done around here. I currently have three small breeds. I'm not even sure what they are. So today they are my pets. I do intend to breed them and sell the babies at an auction house down the road. We have plenty of use for fertilizer around...

We had a giant Rex male for a while. He was so handsome but hard for me to handle. He also had a giant appetite. He went to auction last week. I am pretty sure another local rabbit breeder bought him.

Well that is kind of what we figured. Thanks. As for the sick girl she is not pooping. She is not eating or drinking, anything. She is facing the corner and her breathing is shallow and quick.

She is not well. I think we are going to lose her. Also our other rabit ate her newborn. We read through our books and could not find a reason for it. Do any of you know why she would do that ? She is suppose to be a good mom/breeder. It was a little disturbing.

SO she is hanging on but she is not any better. She did drink some water with a little juice in it and I got her to eat 1 chunk of pineapple maybe she had a couple of oats. No food, no yogurt and very little water if any. I spent a lot of time with her today and I did not see her munch on any hay.

Sick rabbit ,saw her eating small amounts of grass and hay also we gave her some fresh clover but was not interested. She did drink water. Hope she is on the upsweep. She is a sweetie. We don't know what else to do for her. thanks for advise
