    Weird genital issue

So I have a mini Rex buck that is on the older side (like 8) and he has a tumor growing in one of his testicles. However on the same testicle there are things that look like giant blackheads and that they would pop right out. So I squeezed one the slightest bit as gently as possible and it...

    Breed still a mystery.

Looking at his picture, he looks like what I raise, which are havanas, which could explain the mini satin, as havanas and mini satins are very similar, except head shape and fur texture. Havanas are shiny but don't have hollow hair shafts like the satins do. Most havanas are a deep color, but...

    Extremly puzzling color!

Another color that it might be is an opal, they have a tanner belly and the tan other places too?

    To foster or not?

I had a similar situation, but my mom straight up panicked when she had the babies. Does the mom have a ton of milk that is making her uncomfortable? We had to massage the mammary glands to help her let her milk down and we held a hot compress to her stomach to help her relax. I also had another...

    Rabbit Pictures

I have seen some really cute pictures of rabbits online, but I can never seem to get the picture quite right. Does anyone have any tips on backdrops or how to actually take the picture? Any help would be greatly appreciated! :bunnyhop:

    Snowballs

Hi guys! I raise Havana rabbits and I have a litter right now that has a few lilacs in it, however, all of them are snowballing. I know it will molt out when they get older, but I can't find any information on why they would get this way. Is it something genetic? Or pure chance? Thanks! :bunnyhop:

    True vs false dwarves

Although I don't raise dwarfs, I believe you can tell immediately tell or at least can fairly quickly based on size. Like I said, I don't raise them, but that's what I assumed.

    What color is this?

Thank you! That makes so much more sense! I do have another question though, I was looking at the genetics of a red, and from what I found, they can only be black based? So what would the chocolate based red be?

    What color is this?

Thank you- however, I don't think they are chocolates or lilacs, but what do you mean about blue reds or lilac reds? I've never heard of those?

    What color is this?

My friend in my 4-H club just bred two red mini satins, and got a litter of 6 or 7 reds and then bred one of the bucks back to the mom. They got 4 babies, 1 red and 3 mystery colors. I have been trying to figure it genetically but all the colors on the parent's pedigrees are all red except one...

    Finally went to a show.

A rabbit show is overall the same process over and over again, however, I think a rabbit show is more about the people you meet and when you actually have a rabbit on the table. Watching other breeds is very educational, however many people find it boring to just watch other breeds.

Mom just sits in the nest box?

The nest box isnt too big, she barely fits in there! I'll try adding more hay, I'm wondering if it isn't that she's trying to protect them?

Mom just sits in the nest box?

Hey guys! I had 2 does Kindle Tuesday, and they are all happy and healthy, but the one mom just sits in the box. I can't tell if she is picking them or just sitting there. The hay in the box is very flat in the front, and don't know if I should add more, or what. This is her first litter, and...
