I have a trio of mutt-rabbits. Originally, I'd wanted to get into Satin/French angora. However, due to a shortage of local breeders, I found out my starter stock would be around $500 including air shipping, and my husband talked me into starting with more local "meat" rabbits to prove I could keep $500 rabbits alive, first.

In an amusing twist of fate, my wonderful little mutt rabbits have turned out to be part-lionhead and are making minuscule amounts of angora for me to spin anyhow!
