I have black tort and black harlequin Rex rabbits, I’ve been offered a marten seal buck but I don’t know what the colour outcomes could potentially be? The torts and Harlequin’s have black self in their background. The m.s. buck is sired by two marten seal parents. Picture of offered buck.
If you’re worried about weight just up the hay intake and make sure you don’t feed too many pellets (no more than 25% of daily food intake)..personally I wouldn’t worry too much, baby looks healthy and bright. Like a human child, under feeding will have a long lasting impact on growth etc...
One of my bucks screams at every fall off, I’m guessing it’s pleasure as he’s always keen for more…like Maggie said, if it was the doe screaming maybe she had just had enough
They do yes, they share a sleeping space but it‘s divided so there is lots of room. Reckon I’ll give it a shot, any signs of aggression and I can separate them. Thanks!

Rabbits can be given aspirin or inbuprofen but you‘d need to check dosage first..if he’s in pain that will help, but won’t solve the problem which sounds like stasis unfortunately… pale mucous membranes are not a good sign
Are you able to get a photo? Could be something like papillomatosis (CRPV) which I would think may require a vet trip if the skin is broken and they are clearly irritating her. If it is CRPV then the nodules/warts can recede on their own but it sounds like they are causing discomfort..unless any...
@Zee-Man is mattress stitch the same as blanket? If so, that’s what I use when edging a hide. And as for waxed thread, I’d think it would work very well, better than normal in terms of durability and strength. Or one could use embroidery thread which is pretty tough and comes in beautiful...
@RabbitsOfTheCreek ahh so maybe no good for showing but she’s still a cute little rabbit..one of mine has a skewed tail so he’s no good for show but he’s still a lovely buck.
