I had one litter of 12 christmas eve and a litter of 8 christmas day so happy with my girls (and boys).

i live in washington state also my hubby built me some wooden boxes with openings( no bottom) they work great and gives them something to chew.

miss kate wasn't a wool breed either she was just a mutt but she was special gave me many good litters was a great mom.

I lost my sweet kate last night.I had an issue with her and wool block about two months ago . I took pellets and just gave her hay and water and minneral oil. She was got better.This time she didn't. I feel like i didn't do enough. She will be missed.

I had a first time mom that did the same thing you described i moved them to the back just like you did i had to move them back to the front and she was fine quit digging she was also a large doe she only had nine.

SASSY GAVE ME TEN NEW POPPLES THEIR NOT A BIG AS SHE USUALLY HAS BUT THEY LOOK GOOD HER LAST LITTER WAS 13 AND SHE LOST 3 BUT RAISED 10 . MAYBE THE HEAT CAUSE KATE ONLY HAD 8 LAST WEEK AND SHE USUALLY HAS 10 OR 11 BUT IM THANK FUL FOR HOW EVER MANY THEY GIVE ME.THIS IS THE END OF MY FIRST YEAR...
