Thanks for the input mamasheepdog. I think I'll just try breeding the siblings. I'm new to rabbitry bu the two does I have right now seem pretty healthy and I don't see any problems with them. I'll try breeding them with their sibling and see how the offspring looks.

Yeah, I found one ad and bought two does from the breeder but want to avoid buying a buck that is related. Other than that can't find anybody selling californians or NZW

Anybody raising King pigeons. I'm thinking of raising some for meat, but not sure how difficult it is to breed them.

I received some free hay, but not sure about quality. It's brown and the rabbits are eating it. Does brown hay have any nutritional value?

Don't know why California would care. We already have tons of them growing wild here. Quite a nuisance :-)

Thanks, I wont feed them that. What about persimmon and pomegranate trees. I have those (among other fruit treees) but can't find any info on them.
