It's been pretty decent weather for Michigan this time of year too. All our critters Love the sunny days. I'm going to start breeding all the rabbits next week so I'm hoping March is not too cold becuase I don't like to have babies during cold weather.

I also agre with Maggie, You guy's keep the peices you like to eat for yourselves & the rest for dog food. We Love the meat here. I very rarely buy chicken anymore, I use rabbit the same as I would chicken. I call it sweet chicken.

Never tried using a cooking bag but I don't see why it wouldn't work. What about in the oven or slow cooker with a little chicken brosth & make sure it's covered good until the meat is tender & fall's apart?

Start watching for sighns & checking your newspapers around Easter. Usually people sell them at that time. Also our Tractor Supply stores sell baby rabbits in early spring too, usually before easter.

I think I would take him back to the breeder for a trade. I really don't sell my rabbits usually but if I did I would replace one for someone within a certain time limit of course. My buck's testicles are where they are supposed to be & it has been really cold here too.
