I keep reading about how to tell if I've got good solid meat bunnies on my hands and I've come to realize that I'll never figure it out if I don't pose them right. Can any one help me out? I'd love to post pictures to see what other folks think of at least one of my bunnies. The others might be much harder to get pictures of....

You pose it as a commercial rabbit. You want the the front feet under the eyes and toes of the back right under the hips. Don't tuck them in or stretch them out too far or you will not be given the true view of your rabbits body type.

But if you're breeding for meat, you want a meatloaf shape from the top, not a ball. No?

That last pic has the front paws under the front of the ears, not the eye...even the back toes look slightly too forward.
But again, that's for meat, not w/e the show wants it to look.

Almost right, her paws are a bit too far back, but shows the loaf shape.

Thanks! The pictures really help. Now I'll just cross my fingers that I'll be able to get such good pictures.

You want a ball. Meat leaf implies a square shape.

By the way, where did you find the SF Pict. I knew it should be on the site, but I could not find it, the tablet just doesn't display things like a computer.
