For those of you - like me - that have a hard time getting rid of any hide but are sometimes pressed for time when butchering.
Freeze your hides in mason jars.
They will never get freezer burn that way, you can see clearly what you have in the jar AND with all the different sizes of jars you will even know how many there are in the jar before you thaw it out.
