Rhetorical Question........ Why oh Why... when one finally makes their decision as to what rabbits are going to a Really Big Deal show.... said rabbits... promptly go off feed ??? or molt....... either one.......

and......... Why.... after making the entry decision...... do the rabbits start looking less than gorgeous to my eyes ??
Less than 2 weeks to go and already my stomach is in knots !
 
I use my akita dog to gauge likelihood of molt :lol: She always blows her coat slightly early in anticipation of weather change. All the other animals do it at or right after weather change. When I start seeing akita clumps I know everything is going to shed/molt in a couple weeks. I also learned not to add coat supplements of any kind too close to a show. I had a few that would instantly molt even a rather nice coat as soon as I fed sunflower seeds. Of course it always came out better in the end but that would be after the show.
