Here's my mom's website that I built for her. Let me know any things that need fixed, please be nitpicky because I myself am very nitpicky about other peoples' sites.

I'll add my updated site later.

Thanks!

Could you make the websites on the front page click-able instead of 'copy/paste'?

Home Page and Chicken Page images are the same, yet it talks about the Market and other things. Can you add pictures of the veggies and other items she sells?

Contact Us Page looks bare, could she tell you a message to put at the top to visitors? It would seem more welcoming to ask questions and such.

Blue Ox Farm Page, it seems odd, never seen such a page on other websites. I think I'm wanting more of an info introduction, I guess. :/

Hope that helps. =D

i agree...have pics of the various things you produce.

It's just a me thing but I dislike bars I have to scroll in order to read text. Many of them make my eyes go buggy as a scroll.

Yes, the scrolling thing...that was odd, but wasn't expecting such an obvious annoyance. lol.
I've also never seen the name of the farm or what have you at the bottom. I was going to comment on that before, but I spaced out about it.

Can you elaborate on this? What more should I put in for an intro? What do you mean by "such a page"? Just trying to figure out what you mean so I can fix things.

i've seen pages inside of websites before. Particularly if parents have a site and the child has their own thing within the site. I thought that your page was clear enough. Just the needing to use a scroll bar didn't work for my eyes.

Does wix.com offer a non flash site? A lot of devices can't see flash on the web. HTML ones can be just as easy to create/edit.

On the BlueOx page, you have "breath life..." instead of "breathe life..."

I would also change the font in the welcome box. It's a great font for headers, but not great for blocks of text. It makes the page seem a little crowded.

Good lookingsite :)

Forgive my typing I have a feverish baby in my arms :(

The intro should be from your Mom's perspective rather than yours. I would also move the third paragraph to the first- Welcome to TBoDF- My name is Corrine, and my husband (?) Jason and I began this venture in 2009. Our daughter Caitlin has been involved in breeding and showing rabbits through 4-H and ARBA for x years. She also directs our marketing and created this web page! You can see her projects in Blue Ox Farms.

We raise x, and are vendors at "", so please come visit us there, or we can arrange a visit to our farm... etc.

On the poultry page: We raise chickens and turkeys during the fall months to grace your table during the holidays. In the spring we offer eggs in white, brown, and green from our mixed flock of happy, pastured raised chickens.

I notice your phone number is listed at the bottom of your page- why provide that when you encourage people to use the "Contact Us" page?

The site looks good overall, but more pictures would be nice- a mixed basket of eggs on the poultry page, pics of the garden itself as well as the harvest, etc. I would suggest a "garden produce" section highlighting the varieties you will be growing, and another section showcasing your other items for sale i.e. aprons and cookbooks, etc.
