Which Mexican Sunflower???

Post Number:#1  Unread postby GBov » Tue Jun 20, 2017 12:45 pm

http://www.rareseeds.com/search/?F_Keyw ... 0sunflower

Baker Creek is calling Mexican Sunflower Tithonia rotundifolia but when I put it into Feedipeedia I just get Tithonia diversifolia as Mexican Sunflower.

I feel a bit of an idiot but by gum, I dont want to plant lots of somehting that will be nice for butterflies but not for the buns.

So can I feed the Rotundifolia to my buns or are they the same plant, just called different things?

feedipedia seems to be down atm so I can't double check but I'm pretty positive it's Tithonia diversifolia that you want.

Edit: Yes it's Tithonia diversifolia http://feedipedia.org/node/15645
