What I have done is take pics of each kit, full body and of genitilia, when newborn. I put in the description either buckling or doeling. At 4 weeks I go back and check again, then again at 6-8 weeks. I have had the SCF come and visit a time or few but it is usually the ones that I am unsure on from the beginning.

questioning if this buckling is a buckling. Why is this so difficult for me! ha.
Please pardon that the bunny chose to start to potty and that my winter chapped hand looks like death close up (frightening).

Definitely a boy... I can tell because no self respecting woman would try to poop on you.

The set up was too good. I just HAD to. If you feed and take care of something and it just sh... poops all over you, that's a male.

I will be contributing bunny 'junk' pics before long. The 9 kits are 11 days old today. Like many of you, I've checked a few times, based on the first pics in the thread, and I have a few guesses on some of them.

I will be putting some gender pics on here in the next day or two also. So all you that are good at this be ready for us! :D I need to figure out best as possible (no guarantees of course) before I start taking deposits from those waiting. Mine are 4 weeks tomorrow.

You're ready and I have no pictures! I tried to take some today but they were not clear enough.
From what I could tell it looked like most of the litter are bucklings.
I might try to get some better photos tomorrow to post.

I'm right there with you. I was going to post some pics today, after carefully hypnotizing each 2 week old kit (sort of) so I could snap a 'money shot', I looked at the pictures and decided they either weren't clear enough, or were 'duh, female'. Lol one of the kits I'm more uncertain than the others, first look told me boy, today I'm thinking girl. I might try to share that pic tomorrow sometime if I don't get snowed in. :p

This is the one I'm most uncertain about... not seeing a 'tube' pop up like the two (fairly certain) bucklings I found in the litter, but looks a bit more protruded than the (fairly certain) doelings. My first thought when I looked the other day was 'buck', but now I'm thinking 'doe'. :p

I would say that you have a buckling. He might be split though. The reason I say this is that there is a distinct fold around the opening in question. I do not see this in any of the little doelings I have ever sexed. I have highlighted it in the picture below if that helps some.

If you could take another picture of him in about a week I could tell you more accurately. To be sure, it is so hard when they are that small.

Thank you! I am planning to look again when they hit 3 weeks to see if anything has... 'changed' ;) In the meantime, I'm continuing to get them used to being handled, held on their backs, etc.
