I know that rabbits pick a favourite spot in their cage to use as a washroom, i just got him a new cage but once he adjusts do you think it would be wrong to try and use a litter tray such as this one?

My rabbit is 5 years old and he was neglected. I have had him for less than a year and were slowly making progress on training.
My mom says that he is too old to litter train, what do you think?
Im a first time rabbit owner so i am new to this aswell.
Thanks for the help [:

Much Love,
Dexter and Tara <3

now that I see him and know his age, I know he's not one of mine. :)

not too old to litter train.

Let him pick his spot, put his tray in that corner and put some of his waste in there, should work out okay. :)

I always find the term "litter train" funny! We don't train the rabbit at all , they actually train us!! :)
Yeah i was a little worried about using the term lol.
