I love Baby bunnies they are just so cute! Can I see the mom and dad? I want to know what made those gorgeous colors. What breed are they?
They are both pedigreed New Zealand. But CC,the buck, is not a recognized colour. Most people seem to cull them as it is not ARBA SOP. The mum is a broken Black.

I love the Dad's color! That is probably my favorite rabbit color now.
It was obviously mine! I was buying eggs from Tiffany when I saw him. He looked like my siamese cat -Captain Jack Sparrow. Now 50 rabbits later.... CC is always so serious looking. He's a sweet boy! His son Ruby is a lot like him - except even more mischievous. But sweet and loving.... so good natured.
I keep hoping to produce a rabbit like CC. I have frosties in 2 litters. I have the new to me smoke pearl...rew, black , chocolate ,red,broken. I was really surprised to not see more broken in Oreo's litter. I think the one could be a broken smoke pearl. So many beautiful colours! Which can get a bit crazy. Had to laugh. I started with CC and Chocolate Truffle.

I have 2 from Oreo's litter that look a lot like their dad. Their colour seemed off under the canopy. So we moved to the covered patio. I might just dig out my actual camera.

And the 2 broken. In person the kit looks broken black. Bit not a deep black. In the photo it looks more brown.

They just turned 6 weeks old today.
