Her future mate would be midas (pedigree carries lilac heavily, lynx, chocolate and cinnamon

Wondering what they would produce? (Please no more dang chestnuts hahahaha)

I also believe this little cutie to be a buck, assuming im right, would this one be a better match to the above female?

Hi ipoGSD,

I'm sorry I really don't have anything helpful to say in regards to your questions... but that doe you're considering is such a pretty color! :in_love:

And I can't wait to have little kits again so I can snuggle them (don't worry about the choke hold, better to hold them securely than have one jump out of your hand 4 feet off the ground, right?). Thanks for sharing yours!

Looks like a Vienna marked Siamese (black) sable and a sable chinchilla, you'll be pleased to know that chestnuts are genetically impossible ;)

You should get more sable chin and possibly Siamese sables of the chin carries self

If you get blacks, they are actually self chinchilla and the buck is a chinchilla and not a sable chin

The baby looks like a squirrel AKA blue chinchilla or blue sable chinchilla and unless your sable doe carries dilute, you'd get the same results

Omg thats the best news ive heard in a while "genetically impossible for chestnuts" hahaha

Now i just am waiting to hear back from the woman who has this doe. Traveling towards the Albany ny area for her. Fingers crossed

And dood ty, i was wondering what color the doe would be considered :)

__________ Mon Oct 08, 2018 11:43 am __________

Now if i can only find some quality vm hollands lol

If you will be traveling near albany, watch out for construction. And make sure to look at an overhead map of your route, not just trust your gps. They get a little confused around the albany area.

Hi Shea, i am very familiar with that area. I was born and raised in bennington vt. We always used to travel that way for shopping because well theres no mall in my home area. And my first dog was adopted from the manands (spelling on the town name) shelter when I was 14. we also would go to the Berkshire mall in mass but ive been told that it closed down :(

Tho i definitely will keep my eyes open, its been 10 years give or take since I've frequented there. So ty for the heads up :)

__________ Wed Oct 17, 2018 1:06 pm __________

Btw we picked up this doe last Sunday. She is in quarantine now, but wow shes pretty. Only downfall is, she is on the big side for a netherland. Was so hoping one of those small does from my other post was going to be a buck. Need to weigh her still but im geussing over 3 lbs. But if i produce a small male like in the past (1.5 lb) it might work out :)
