I've done the search here on RT and the leaves and bark have been sucessfully fed to rabbits with no discernable bad effects.

What about the seed balls? The rabbits enjoy a variet of pine cones, but I wonder if the seed balls currently raining from the trees would be ok?? Anybody have any experience???

I was planning on experimenting with them this spring.

They have medicinal quantities... It's one of those that I think are "probably" safe but feed with caution until you know how they will react.

I LOVE Green Dean! Fab favorite fellow. The gum balls I have no idea but I have fed both the leaves and bark and twigs so would be happy enough to feed a few to a grow out bunny and see how they felt about them.
