Ok, maybe I've just been spoiled up until now, but it seems Mr Free Rabbit has a bit of an odor issue. Didn't notice it while he was in QT in the fresh air, but now that he's indoors with the others, he stinks!

Is there anything that will fix/mitigate the problem? He is housed between 2 (non-perfumed) bucks, and we did have a spraying issue for a couple of days but that seems to be over. I'm hoping that this is a temporary state of affairs, because he's a really nice bunny otherwise!

Have you checked his anal glands? They are the little pockets on either side of his -ahem!- boy parts. They get very musky smelling. You can clean them out with a moist cotton swab.

You can also give him a bath, but you will need to blow dry him. Most animals do well if they are on a towel in your lap and you cover their head with part of it. But if he doesn't sit still for that, you can put him in a small carrier and prop the dryer so it blows into it. Just make sure to put it on a low setting so he doesn't overheat.
