It is Officially Spring.... here at the nursing home/rehab facility, someone tore the robin's nest from a ledge under a pavilion on Sunday. I spent almost 2 hours watching the pair work on the nest on Saturday. The administrator said she would inform everyone that a nest that far away from the building entrance was to be left alone! We had a "Luau" this afternoon as part of Nursing Home Week activities. As I sat in the lounge, what should I hear but the occasional chorus of baby birds streaming through the air conditioner. yes-- the squeaky windmill blade sound of new life....
