Ok so my kits are about 2 weeks old now... nice and plump and eyes are starting to open. I intend on moving them and mom to a larger cage. Should i be taking the nest box with them? or are then big enough now to be with out it?

Also.. i know we have thread on sexing newborn kits... but can i still do it now? even after 2 weeks? I heard that you either do it at birth or wait until 4 weeks.
 
genders ...you can check them any time.

I would move them without the box. Just plunk them in new cage, possibly add a whack of straw in one corner of the cage for them to sit on, or even just a board.
 
So if i follow the photos in the newborn gender thread.. it'll still be accurate?

Ok We aren't moving every one until this weekend as it is. and i'll have to put in a nest box into my 3rd doe's cage as she's due on the 17th at the earliest.
