So we have a stray cat living in the rabbit tent.

He's a nice boy with a good hunting instinct.

BUT we have a small problem......

1. the boy wants to keep him (he's gentle and friendly)
2. he jumps on top of the tent! (on his way to sitting in the tree) ARGH!!! I shooed him off this morning, but ARGH!!! climb up a tree like a normal cat!!!!

Trust me when I tell you this - much better to use the tent to climb to high places than to use your back (which, of course, requires digging in with The Claws) to get to high places.

ah but you see Aileen....I don't want his claws wrecking my tent! (the tent being the portable garage that I keep my rabbits in).

Something silly you can try, Ladysown. Get some cheap aluminum foil and tape strips of it to the places the cat uses to get to the tree. A lot of cats dislike foil intensely... it may give him a distaste for the side of the tent.

Ladysown,

How does that work? Why don't they just chew their way out? Or are they in cages that are in the tent?
